My 3 years of permanantly living on the Sunshine Coast and Noosa specifically has changed my life, my health and my attitude to many things significantly, and all for the better. Don't get me wrong the Mornington Peninsula is a beautiful place and was a wonderful area to live and bring up a family. It did however provide - dare I state the obvious a cold, wet, dark and often windy winters. People are just happier when the suns out and you're able to be more active. Smiling faces on a dog walk, friendly hellos in the surf and vibrant people at coffe shops ready to take on the day after an active and social morning. None of these things cost anything either, apart from the morning brew. The 'lifestyle' is so condusive to being happier and friendlier to your friends, work colleagues and family, it's just the way it is. There's a sense of community in all the suburbs and towns on the Sunshine coast that I've seen in abundance. In some ways it's like 1950's values have been maintained, there is crime, sadness, anger and all the 2024 vices of course, I'm generalsing but it's a happy place to live. There are 2 x sets of traffic lights in Noosa however :), I always seen to get their red lights and I laugh at myself that it's a reminder of the traffic in Melbourne I don't miss. As I write these blogs I hope I can give some insight into the great activities available, places to visit, day to day dealings and even some 'on the ground' property advice. I do after all assist people move here, find their dream home so they also can enjoy the 'sunshine coast' lifestyle, as can you.
